We’ve answered some of the more common questions we get asked below. We’re more than happy to have a chat if you have anything you want to ask, you can get in touch using our online form.
We have two standard layouts based around a 2 or 3 berth with a full kitchen, fixed double bed or converting sofa area, a seating area, a full shower/toilet room and all of the Bear Hug styling.
Everything is fully customisable to make it unique to you and we also offer a full custom build if you want it totally to your spec. You can check out the details of all our build options on the Conversion Options page.
Yes, 100%, totally. We love off-grid, our van’s electrics run competently on solar as well as by charging automatically as you drive. Water is heated by gas and there is a fresh water tank and waste water tank. All tanks are hidden away underneath the van.
Definitely. There are many parts to the design that you can customise, including floor, kitchen tiles, curtains, blinds, fabrics, kitchen cabinet colour, sink, taps, wall colour. We will help you out as much as you need and create a design mood board to help you choose from our materials and fixtures list.
Our standard builds are 2 or 3 berth. Full custom builds can be 2 – 4 berth.
As soon as the project starts we’ll invite you to a google drive folder shared privately with you where we will add photos and videos regularly as we progress. We can also give you nudges on WhatsApp when we’ve uploaded a batch of photos.
They are indeed. Our conversions are included with a gas certificate, mains electric certificate and a weigh bridge certificate.
These three vans all have the same body and are (in our opinion) the best van shape and size for a conversion: Fiat Ducato, Citroen Relay, Peugeot Boxer, all with the body size L3H2.
We also convert Mercedies Sprinter, VW Crafters and other similar vans.
If you want to have a chat about van types, get in touch and we’ll go into a bit more detail with you.
Yes, you provide the van and we provide the tiny home transformation.
Once you’re booked in we can offer advice on how best to find a van that works well for a conversion and what to look for when buying.
We are based on the Surrey/Hampshire border in the South Downs National Park, near the town of Liss. It’s very easily accessible just off the A3.
You can indeed, just arrange an appointment with us first and you’re welcome to pop down.
It’s super simple. You get in touch and we’ll book in a call, receive a proposal, pay a deposit to set your build dates, approve your mood-board and make your design choices, look over layout drawings of your conversion, drop in your van at the workshop and watch the photo and video updates come in!
You can view the base price of our standard builds over on the Conversion Options page.
All of our full conversions include everything you’ll need for adventuring including off-grid high spec power, gas hob, gas water and air heater, kitchen with sink and hot water, full size double bed, table, sofa seats, wood clad walls and ceiling, full insulation, skylight, windows, all the necessities and high quality finishes all around.

To make it as manageable as possible we split the payments into chunks spread across the build.
You pay £2,000 up front to secure your build slot in the calendar and we’ll start the planning and design process.
Then you pay part of the payment two months ahead of your build start date so we can order in materials and parts.
Another part when dropping the van off with us and the remainder when the build is done and it’s ready to be picked up.
From time to time we have a show vehicle that put up for sale. Keep an eye on our instagram to see if one is available.
Around 12 to 14 weeks depending on your design.
We provide a one year warranty for the conversion. This gives you peace of mind in case any parts decide to misbehave within your first year. We’ll either fix or replace. It doesn’t cover wear and tear, spillages, brakeages from knocks, drops and things like that.
Get in touch with us and ask us anything you like, and we’ll give you lots of useful info about van conversions. No hassle and no pressure at all.
